You just found a good, unfurnished apartment for rent in Ho Chi Minh and are wondering how to decorate it with a pet in mind? Well, here at JRE we will give you a few tips which could freshen up your ideas.

Whether you live in a spacious house with a garden, bungalow, or a small-sized apartment, there are a variety of pet-design ideas that are suitable for you.

1. Build a house for your pet on your outdoor space

If you live on an apartment with a big terrace or on a Villa with a large outdoor space, you will probably conclude that this is the most suitable area for your pet to spend the majority of its time. A pet-house that accommodate to their needs will make life easier for you and your pet.

2. Private Cabinet to Store their food

Keep it simple for you and your dog by storing their food near their eating space on a private cabinet or pantry. Food should be kept in metal bins while treats can be kept on jars.

3. Contain all their stuff in one spot

When remodeling, it’s best if you can set aside a special area for your pet. A corner just off the kitchen is ideal. It allows space for eating, sleeping and storage. A spot here for leashes and small plastic bags for the poop should be considered.

4. Easy-Serve Food Bin

Another great idea for food storage is an easy-serve food bid which can be installed easily near your pet’s eating area high enough to avoid your child playing with it.

5. Pet-Friendly Floors

Many dogs are fond of ceramic tile. Vinyl and linoleum are good choices because they will stand up to most dog abuse. Wood and laminate are bit more vulnerable to urine damage, but harder finishes and extremely tight joints can hold up well to dogs. Carpet can be difficult to keep clean.
